Where We Are

The Costa del Sol streches along 150 kilometres of the Malaga province. The mild climate is one of the main attractions, making it possible to enjoy the many outdoor activities all the year round.

Benalmadena boasts nine kilometres of coastline bordering with Torremolinos to the East and Fuengirola to the West and is only a 15 minute drive from Malaga Airport.

The municipality of Benalmadena is made up of three well differentiated centres of population - the town itself, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Costa. The leisure port is situated in the most easterly part of the coast. It was opened in 1982 and there are over 1,000 moorings for vessels between 6 and 30 metres in length. Daily trips of two hours in Benalmadena Bay up to 8kms from the coast provide plenty of chances to see the dolphins and a frontline view for everyone to see them play. After the port, Benalmadena's sea front promenade begins and this is entirely pedestrianised with many café bars and restaurants overlooking the beach.

Golf plays an important part on the Costa Del Sol with numerous golf courses between Malaga and Sotogrande. (Valderama and Torrequbrada are two of the famous world class courses check our golf page for details.

Along the coast there are numerous marinas where some of the most luxurious yachts are moored.

Benalmadena marina is situated a short drive from Malaga airport and it is here where Benalrentals have a wide choice of marina apartments available to rent.

The marina is surrounded by restaurants serving various international foods with something to suit all tastes. There' s a shopping centre and Sealife centre, lots of water sports for you to enjoy, something for all ages. The safe sandy beaches lie within 50 mtrs in either direction.
